Charlotte Scores Trees with an Assist from the NBA

In partnership with TreesCharlotte, Charlotte Bobcats’ players Chris Douglas-Roberts, Brendan Haywood, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeff Taylor joined with Reid Park Academy students for a tree planting project on March 21st. The event was part of a of program that is seeking to plant 15,000 trees in 2014, and is operated in conjunction with the NBA’s Go-Green Initiative.
