We are always looking for volunteers! To become a volunteer, complete the form on any event marked with a blue ribbon!
Thanks to our partnership with LendingTree, Charlotte 2020 Host Committee and 2020 Convention Planners, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 120 trees on the campus of Dorothy J. Vaughan Academy of Technology.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 70 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell-out” quickly. 40 spots remain. (We have enough TreeMaster help for this one and are now seeking volunteers only. Consider signing up for the Caldwell Farms event on the same day.)
Volunteer groups of 10 or more, please contact the events director, Heike Biller to determine if there is enough capacity.
Tree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts, please list all participants on the registration form, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Children’s activities will be provided between 9:00 and 10:00 am by our community partner, NC Wildlife Federation.
TreesCharlotte is excited to partner with CupLux Coffee to provide our volunteers with delicious, handcrafted coffee at our events.
Events are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.
Deadline to register to volunteer is Sunday, February 2.
Once registered, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
