The goal of the Summit is to share in an interesting and interactive discussion of the topics most relevant to our urban forest.  This year’s Summit will cover:

• Reporting on the collective successes & goals of the TreesCharlotte collaborative;
• Growing superior trees;
• Policy issues including the recent canopy analysis and payment in lieu provisions of the tree ordinance;
• Update on the cankerworm and Charlotte’s street tree program;
• Roundtable discussion of research and education topics; and
• Other issues important to participants.

This event is intended for those directly involved in protecting, preserving and expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy.  Space is limited so rsvp early and no later than May 14.
