We are always looking for volunteers! To become a volunteer, complete the form on any event marked with a blue ribbon!
While TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate, expand, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte, we also want to protect the health of our supporters, volunteers, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19. We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer.
Thanks to generous support from Accenture, the NC Urban Forest Council’s Legacy Tree Fund and the Swinerton Foundation, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 239 trees on the campus of River Oaks Academy.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting our recruitment to 80 volunteers. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. 10 spots remain
Tree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure we operate within State and CDC guidelines, we are limiting each 2-hour shift to 20 volunteers and are requiring a registration form for each volunteer, regardless of age. We cannot accept walk-up volunteers at the event. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteer groups of 10 or more, please contact events director, Heike Biller to determine if there is enough capacity.
Events are held rain or shine. Details of the event will be emailed to registered volunteers the week of the event.
Deadline to register to volunteer is Sunday, October 4.
Thank you to all the TreeMasters that registered to help. We are now seeking volunteers only.
