Madison Park at Wallace Farms and Sinclair Place NeighborWoods TreeDay

March 21, 2015, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

It was a beautiful morning to be giving away trees and planting in the common areas. View photos of the event on our Flickr page.

Our goal is to plant 200 trees in the Madison Park at Wallace Farms and Sinclair Place neighborhoods in Northeast Charlotte. Volunteers will be helping residents plant trees in their yards and in common areas in the neighborhood.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 30 for this TreeDay. Register early, as our events “sell out” quickly.

Tree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome.  To ensure accurate active volunteer counts, please list all participants on the registration form, along with children’s ages and t-shirt sizes. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Children activities will be provided during the event by the NC Wildlife Federation.

NeighborWoods tree planting events are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.

Deadline to register is March 13.   Click here to register to volunteer.

Once registered, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.

After this event please return to this page to see photos of the morning.
