#010 Paper Mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera)
This Treasure Tree is no longer standing. It was one of the few trees preserved when Second Ward was developed in 1968. Original notes state that this tree was located on the edge of the fountain pool at Marshall Park. In the 2002 Treasure Tree annual health assessment, the tree was noted to be partially dead and falling into the fountain pool. According to satellite imagery, the tree was no longer standing as of 2008.
