Kings Creek NeighborWoods

October 31, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

While TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate, expand, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte, we also want to protect the health of our supporters, volunteers, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19.  We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering.

Having completed a NeighborWoods Application, TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Kings Creek neighborhood to plant trees in their common areas and to provide trees to their residents. A big thank you to One Tree Planted for sponsoring this planting!

For the residents of Kings Creek that want trees for their own yards, we invite you to register to get trees at the Zip Code TreeStore on Sat, Nov 14.  Details will be posted once confirmed.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are looking for 20 volunteers and 3 TreeMasters to help plant trees in the common areas the morning of Oct. 31.  7 spots remain and we now have all the TM’s we need!

Tree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure we operate within State and CDC guidelines, we are requiring a registration form for each volunteer, regardless of age. We cannot accept walk-up volunteers at the event. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteer groups of 10 or more, please contact the events director, Zack Agerton to determine if there is enough capacity.

Events are held rain or shine.  Details of the event will be emailed to registered volunteers the week of the event.

Deadline to register to volunteer is Sunday, October 25.
